Job Title:

Accuracy Checking Technician

Department/Location:

Dispensary Bristol, BS5 6NR

Reports to:

Steve Wells

Staff Responsibilities:

To check dispensed items for accuracy and quality. To arrange the packaging and dispatch of dispensed items at the appropriate times. To assist in the running of the dispensary including supporting staff and general up keep.

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday. 9am – 6pm. Saturdays as overtime if required.

Salary Range:

£NEG ph starting progressing depending on qualifications

Summary of Position:

Accuracy Checker for the one of the downstairs dispensary department. You will be working in one of our busy dispensary’s following a strict protocol in dispensing practice. Quality standards are paramount so we are looking for individuals that pay very close attention to detail.

Qualifications & Training

ACT Certificate

GSCE English and Math’s at grade C or above or equivalent

Experience

At least 1year as a qualified ACT

Experience in working with a large number of staff

Qualities and Attitude

A good sense of time management, prioritisation & organisational skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Product Knowledge

Knowledge of Medication
