The Pharmacy Plus Service with Proactive Care System
The Pharmacy Plus Service with the Proactive Care System offers Care Homes everything that the Pharmacy Plus Service does, with the added benefit of the new Proactive Care System (PCS), developed by Pharmacy Plus and unique to our company.
PCS consists of a hand held electronic device (similar to a mobile phone) that Care Home staff members use to assist them to carry out their medication rounds. It is easy to use and provides complete “peace of mind” to staff.
It works by using a barcode validation system, to automatically confirm that staff have given the right medication to the right resident at the right time. All the data is pre-loaded by Pharmacy plus, so there is no time consuming work required from Care Home staff, as it seamlessly dovetails into the existing Pharmacy Plus systems and builds upon the already excellent safety procedures.
