In April over 100 nurses and carers attended two full day training sessions held at the BAWA club in Filton Bristol.
The sessions were delivered by our regional pharmacist Steve Wells and covered a wide range of aspects associated with improving medicines management within a Care Home environment.
As well as receiving extremely positive feedback on the course evaluation forms, several Care Home managers have telephoned to advise us that their staff have returned to the Care Home motived and have suggested amendments to the day to day working practices that will have improve the management of medicaiton within the Care Home.
