Job description
As a Pharmacy Checking Technician in our department you would be involved in providing a final check on prescriptions that have been dispensed by other dispensers and that have been clinically checked by a pharmacist. You would be highly efficient and methodical in your approach to checking dispensed items. With our team of technicians, you would be involved in planning the weeks work and ensure deadlines are met.
In terms of qualifications, you should be NVQ level 2 or above trained and have experience in working in pharmacy. Ideally you should have completed the Accredited Checking Technician Course (NPA or equivalent), although if you have not completed this, you should be willing to participate in it. All training is provided by the company.
